We are a worker-owned design practice focusing on print, exhibition, interactive, and identity work with clients and collaborators in art, architecture, government, and activism.
232 3rd StreetWe collaborated with A Hundred Years on a project called Forced From Home. Forced From Home is a traveling exhibition depicting the refugee experience created by Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). (MSF) provides refugees and internally displaced people with everything from basic needs to advanced healthcare and shelter, with the singular agenda of helping people in need.
Together we worked closely with MSF to establish a visual identity system that was applied to the exhibition, website, collateral and overall advertising campaign. The key component of the system is meant to articulate notions of being without a home. By representing home as a place holder — a purposeful empty delineation — viewers may imbue their own ideas about home and it’s meaning.
